BIG FUR SERVICE POLICIES

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept payment at pick-up for your convenience.

Cancellations & No-Shows

We kindly ask that all cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance by phone.

• Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full grooming fee.

• Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in the discontinuation of future services.

This policy helps us respect the time set aside for each dog and groomer.

Late Arrivals

Grooming appointments are carefully scheduled to allow calm, unrushed care.

• Arrivals 15 minutes or more late may result in appointment cancellation.

• If we are able to still accommodate your dog, a late fee may apply.

• Clients who arrive late may be required to pre-pay for future appointments.

Extreme Weather

Your safety — and ours — always comes first. If severe weather makes travel unsafe, you will not be penalized for canceling. Please notify us as soon as possible so we can adjust our schedule accordingly.

Post-Groom Touch-Ups

We know that sometimes a few stray hairs appear — or your vision becomes clearer after pickup (we totally get it!).

If you’d like to request a minor touch-up (such as around the face, feet, or sanitary area), please contact us within one week of your appointment by phone or by replying to your post-groom confirmation email.

We’re happy to offer a complimentary 15–30 minute touch-up to ensure your pup leaves looking and feeling their Big Fur best.

Effective February 1st, 2026

There will be a price adjustment to our current grooming services. 

Please note that the current Big Fur services will remain the same during this time. Our new and expanded list of services  will not take effect until we transition into our new Big Fur location in Falmouth.

This adjustment allows us to continue providing calm, one-on-one care, premium products, and the time each dog deserves. We truly appreciate your understanding and ongoin support!!
